Dropbox, free internet hard-disk

Think about the holiday pictures you saved on your desktop pc; you want to show them to your friends at a birthday party, but you only have your laptop around, and the pictures are not there.

If you update the research project on your laptop, the updated version is also automatically updated on your online disk, so the next time you connect with your desktop pc you will automatically download it there, as well; if you save the holiday pictures on your desktop, they will be automatically uploaded to your Dropbox, and the next time you go online with your laptop, they will pop up there, as well.
