This' been my greatest gratification: I checked the counter one day (9th october, 2001) and I found the counter was reporting this (static screenshot):

I added a short guide on how to enable XGA 1024x768 resolution on a Compaq Presario 1800 under Ubuntu linux.

Social bookmarking! I added icons to the footer to bookmark each page to your favourite social bookmarking sites, both italian and international, use them!

I wanted to share with the visitors something I achieved a while ago, that is finding a method to easily backup big volumes of data on several DVDs in the most automated way possible, that's why I added a guide in the HowTo's section, Batch backup to DVD with ImgBurn.

Added screencaps of Alexander Senki for the character of Efestione in the page about my nick.

Updated the guide for video subtitles synchronization, now to use Subtitle Workshop as the sample utility. Does the same job in a smallest fraction of the time.

Corrected/updated several redirects to make them more precise/easier to track; modified picture galleries so they use static addresses to get better compatibility with search engines.

Pimped the layout, now it's quite more colorful. I'm working on the Chrono Trigger animation, now it's transparent on the background, I still need to add something else to it.

Added page comments, and right after that I got the first spam message, and also added a captcha; modified this page so it is dynamically created, with the choice to show all entries, or only last 10 (default).

New website is LIVE! I've been working on the redirects today, I pray there are no major fubars; I'll be able to intercept them and correct them ASAP tho, I can track if something goes wrong.
Follows a list of the fundamental changes:
- Switch to PHP, the website now doesn't uses deprecated frames anymore
- Implementation of a robust routine to manage the double language of the website
- Site-wide optimization for search engine crawlers (SEO)
- Notable improvement in the aspect of the pictures/images galleries
- Removal of some defunct pages, traffic-wise and usefulness-wise, and some sort of update for those others which became partly obsolete technically speaking
It's possible that I will ork on the website more on the coming days (there are several minor aspects which I ignored for now for the sake of a fast activation of the new website). I do know the website now looks uglier than before, yet the glitters and lights were not exactly my priority while taking on the huge work of the jump... maybe I'll work on it, next to come on your screens.

Bought domains for the site, now I own ephestione.it/com/net/org, too many individuals were stealing what has been my trademark nick since almost a decade, so to prevent unaware "clones" of me I officialized the "Ephestione" brand. Switch to PHP is being made, with obvious need to radically change the design from the deprecated frames to a single file.
This is a work in progress version which by no means can substitute the old website in its current state. Google for ephestione to get the old website.
